Andy Simpkins is Moderately Vexed by... Hospital Food During my numerous stays in hospital, I can only assume it is made, cooked and distributed by people with no sense of humour at all (see following link and Belgium!) It is hard to maintain a rational grasp on reality when you are served up for 3 days in a row, breakfast, lunch and supper with clear soup and jelly while others around you are tucking into steak and kidney pie and chips. My physical health is vastly improved but my mental health lies in smoking ruins. |
